Welcome to the website of Horseshoes of Pittsburgh Enterprises (HOPE).  HOPE is a four court indoor pitching facility located near Settlers Cabin Park in Carnegie, Pennsylvania.  The club operates both a summer and winter league.  They also run NHPA sanctioned tournaments once a month all winter long.  They now have a beautiful set of outdoor courts as well, and utilize these for leagues and tournaments as well.

Mickey McGuire was the champion of our King of the Hill summer league – 2002.  John Kraves placed second.  A cook out was held at the end of the season to distribute the N.H.P.A. awards.  21 pitchers competed in our summer league singles – 20 shoes count all.

We regret the passing away of one of the ‘founders’ (1987) of H.O.P.E.  On May 6, 2002, Al Giovanazzi died of a heart attack at the age of 87.  Al Gio still out-hustled many of our younger members.  We could always count on Al helping out at the club.  He is thoroughly missed.
