H.O.P.E. 2002 THE YEAR IN REVIEW – “CHANGES”/”IMPROVEMENTS”

 

  1. New shed was constructed
  2. New shelter was built
  3. Electrical Outlet installed on side of building
  4. 1000’s of bricks, tons of sand and gravel, were used to contract the walkway by the shelter
  5. New picnic table built
  6. New marquee sign built – with “Welcome to H.O.P.E.” lettering
  7. Concrete poured around the bases of the 46 galvanized poles – fencing (outdoor courts)
  8. Concrete curb poured
  9. 45 tons of top soil trucked in
  10. Equipment box built for shovels, scoreboards, tampers, etc. (outdoor courts)
  11. Riding lawn mower donated to the club
  12. Toro Snow Blower purchased
  13. Leaf Blower purchased
  14. 16 new Social Members joined the club in 2002
  15. Rally Day – September 13, 2002 – 8 new members joined the club (84 guests participated)
  16. Property was resurveyed
  17. H.O.P.E. lettering was installed on the front of the building
  18. Social Members now permitted to attend the quarterly meetings
  19. A 6 month membership is now available
  20. Job descriptions for the Board of Directors

 

FUTURE PROJECTS FOR 2003

 

  1. Court #9 to be constructed (outdoor courts)
  2. Extend the shelter along the side of the building
  3. Spread 30 tons of topsoil, plant grass seed, spread hay
  4. Change the lighting inside the building (more cost efficient lighting)
  5. Paint the side of the building where shelter exists
  6. Driveway repaired/repaved
  7. Parking lot gravel added
